FREDERICK A. WEISBROD was born in New Jersey around 1892 of Swiss parents. He married at the age of 20. Sometime after January 1920 the Weisbrod family moved to 8 North 27th Street in East Camden with his wife Alice R., and children Mary, Fred C., Florence, and Regina. The family was still living there as late as 1946. The family lived three doors away from the Boulevard Grille to the south, and the 3rd National Bank to the north, and directly across the street from the East Camden firehouse.
A butcher by trade, Frederick Weisbrod was well known in his neighborhood. He passed away on February 11, 1943. The Wesibrod family had moved from North 27th Street by 1947. The home had been converted to use as a dental office.
